Privacy Policy

Hi. We're LuzyTech, the company behind Teamlet. This page explains what we collect when you use Teamlet, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it.
What we collect
When you or your team uses Teamlet, we collect:
- Account info — your name, work email, and employee ID when you sign up
- Attendance data — clock-in/out times and your location when you mark attendance (only if your workspace admin has geolocation enabled)
- Leave history — leave requests, approvals, and balances
- Messages — your chat messages and direct messages within the platform
- Documents — files you upload to Teamlet
- Usage data — how you interact with the app, mostly for fixing bugs
We don't collect anything we don't need to run the platform.
Why we collect it
Everything we collect is used to make Teamlet work for your team. Your attendance data powers the attendance module. Your messages power the chat.
We don't build user profiles for ads. We don't sell data. That's not our business.
How we store it
Your data lives on:
- Our PostgreSQL database — hosted and managed by us, encrypted at rest on secure cloud infrastructure
- Cloudflare R2 — for files and attachments you upload through the platform, stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure
We access it only to run the platform or when you ask us to.
Payment data
We use Razorpay to process payments. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment card details are entered directly on Razorpay's secure payment page and never seen or stored on our servers. We only receive a subscription confirmation and the last four digits of your card for your records.

Who we share it with
We share your data with the services below — and only to the extent they need it to do their job:

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties for advertising.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct any information that's wrong
- Delete your account and associated data
To make any of these requests, email us at support@teamlet.app. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies. No ad cookies. When you log out, the cookie is gone.
Children
Teamlet is for workplaces. You must be 18 or older to use it. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change — like collecting a new type of data — we'll email workspace admins before the change takes effect. Small clarifications may happen without a separate notice.
